What the day is like

Assisted bikes, so the hills are a pleasure rather than a problem. Bikes provided.

Assisted bikes, so the hills stop being the point. Twenty-six kilometres of forest trail around Piatra Mare with four hundred metres of climbing that you will barely notice.

Why electric

Because it puts a group of mixed fitness on the same ride. Nobody waits at the top for anybody, and the person who has not cycled in ten years has as good a day as the one who rides every weekend.

Full-suspension, provided, sized on the morning. Helmets included.

10:00The first climb

Gentle forest road, mostly to get everyone comfortable with the assistance.

11:30The traverse

Singletrack and forest road around the flank of the mountain.

12:30Lunch stop

Bring your own, or we stop at a cabana if one is open.

13:30The long descent

Back down on forest road. The best part.

14:30Back in Brașov

Mid-afternoon.

You need to be able to ride a bike. The assistance handles the rest — that is the whole reason we run it this way.

Will the battery last?

Comfortably, for this route, at the assistance levels we use. The guide carries a spare.

Can children come?
