What the day is like
A full day working to the light, at the pace photography actually needs.
A full day worked around the light rather than around a schedule. Out before dawn, a long middle-of-the-day break when the light is useless, and back out for the evening.
Who this is for
People who already shoot and want to be in the right place at the right time, with someone who knows where the animals actually are. Not a photography course.
Group size
Four people maximum. Any more and somebody is always in somebody's frame.
The day, hour by hour
06:00Out before first light
In position for dawn. The best hour of the day and the coldest.
09:00Working the morning
Moving between spots as the light changes.
12:00Long break
The light is flat and nothing is moving. Eat, sleep, back out later. This is deliberate.
16:30Out again
Into position for the evening.
20:30Last light
Working until it goes.
21:30Back in Brașov
Late.
